Words have been the centre of Kathleen Shuster’s life for many years. She started off writing poetry, continued onto short stories and eventually found herself writing novels.

Since training as a proofreader in 2000, she has spent the past 11 years proofreading and editing in various employments in America, Europe and England.

Alongside her passion for the written word, she teaches Music & English at a private school in East Sussex and tutors at a local education centre.

In her spare time, she enjoys taking part in amateur dramatics, dance classes and singing in choirs!

“No matter how big or small the job, or how tight the deadline, EPS has been able to proofread and send back recommended changes in a remarkable amount of time. It gives me peace of mind to know that in the fast moving industry I work in, all the work produced and seen by so many of my clients is grammatically correct with a creative flair.”- C.M.

“For over a year Kathleen was editor of our monthly International Arts Festival newsletter. This involved bringing together every sort of report at every level of writing ability into a coherent and cohesive whole. This was done with ability and style. Kathleen works fast and effectively with a keen sense of literary genre. We were sad when her work commitments meant she could no longer bring her special flavour to our publication.”- Cathy Bird, Executive Director
